GDPR isn't a checkbox - it's a posture. If you're moving off Lead-Table because their AVV / DPA is opaque, KI BMS is what a clean alternative looks like: subprocessor list of two (Stripe + mail relay), self-serve export + delete from account settings, and a standard German GDPR DPA on request when your procurement team needs one.

At a glance

Lead-Table and KI BMS target the same audience: German HR teams that want modern, KI-assisted recruiting. Lead-Table leans into active sourcing and pipeline visualisation. KI BMS is broader: careers page + public application form included, KI fit-score with reasoning as a default, GDPR retention windows built in, public clear pricing. If your recruiting is mostly inbound (public role -> application arrives), KI BMS is the more natural fit. If it's mostly outbound (you source actively), look at both.

GDPR posture

GDPR is a posture, not a checkbox

Three things matter under GDPR for a tool like this: (1) lawful basis for processing, (2) data subject rights (export, delete, port), and (3) the auftragsverarbeitungsvertrag / DPA chain. KI BMS treats them as engineering invariants, not legal optics. Lawful basis is the contract you sign with us. Subject rights are self-serve from your account settings - no support ticket required. The subprocessor list has two entries (Stripe + mail relay). A standard German GDPR DPA is available on request from /sales whenever your procurement team needs one - we don't charge for it and don't gate it behind a plan tier. Where Lead-Table sits on each of these is the rest of this page.

When to pick which

Pick KI BMS when

Recruiting is mostly inbound: you publish a role and applications arrive via the careers page + LinkedIn.
You want to see prices publicly before signing up.
Per-candidate retention + auto-anonymisation should be a built-in default.
A public free tier you can try without contact is important to you.

Pick Lead-Table when

Active sourcing is the main channel: you live in LinkedIn and need tools that pull profiles into the ATS.
You've planned a sales cycle with the vendor and value hands-on onboarding.
